Metal Roofs (AKA Low Sloped Roofs) ~Must first be washed with a special cleaner to remove all dirt & contaminations. ~Then primed with a metal roof primer & rust inhibitor. ~After that, we apply a 4"" fabric over every seam embedded in elastomeric rubber. ~Then every screw head will be covered with a caulk grade elastormeric rubber. ~We finally apply 2 coats of elastomeric rubber coating which has a 86% reflectivity and 91% emissivity. ~A Polyurethane Foam System can be applied prior to elastomeric rubber coating (Optional for insulation & additional water proofing). ~EPDM, Modified & PVC restoration systems can be applied. ~Elastometric Coatings are a common low cost restoration option. |
